Are you ready to expand yourself and become more comfortable in the kitchen? Are you ready to take the next step to healthy eating? This course will cover food safety and food borne illness, kitchen equipment and measurements, poultry and red meats, soups/salads/casseroles and dairy products. Students will also explore eating and nutritional needs throughout the lifespan. Foods 1 is recommended but not required for this course. Fee is $25.00
