This is for the student who needs to develop the skills necessary to go to Algebra. This course will focus on three major points: 1) Algebra: Analyzing and representing linear functions, solving linear equations, and systems of linear equations 2) Geometry and Measurement: Analyzing two and three dimensional space and figures by using distance and angle 3) Data Analysis and Number and Operations: Analyzing and summarizing data sets. The course topics include properties of numbers, fractions, decimals, data analysis, problem solving, ratios, proportions, and percents. It also includes a study of geometry, probability, statistics, sequence, exponents, and polynomials.
